If you don't have the time or the ability to download, install, configure, host and
continually monitor your own chat server software, let ParaChat do it for you! ParaChat
Enterprise is the fast, easy and hassle-free way to license a hosted, dedicated ParaChat
Server. Although ParaChat Enterprise rooms are embedded in your own web site, they are served
from a ParaChat Server that is dedicated exclusively to your organization. A ParaChat
Enterprise hosted chat server is hosted on a high-speed machine using ParaChat's latest
100% Java chat technology. ParaChat Enterprise is designed for organizations that do
not have the capacity, capability or desire to implement our robust chat server software
on their own hardware, and require a broader chat solution than afforded by our hosted
chat room services. ParaChat Enterprise permits the creation of an unlimited number of
chat rooms and admin users using web-based administration tools.
The ParaChat client (chat room) does not require a user to download any additional software or plug-ins, and is accessed using a Java-enabled web browser. There are no signed applets or security warnings to detract from the end-user experience. The ParaChat client is fully customizable to the scheme of a web page. See our Features page for a complete list of features. Our Java chat server is accessed by the ParaChat client using a TCP/IP connection, or can be configured to make an HTTP connection to tunnel through firewalls. ParaChat Enterprise is administered using a web-based interface for chat room and admin user creation, real-time usage reporting, chat room transcript retrieval, and branding and banner image uploads. Since ParaChat Enterprise is hosted by ParaChat, you incur no additional bandwidth expenses, nor strain on your existing system. Software upgrades are available automatically, and at no additional charge, since ParaChat Enterprise is centrally administered. |

How It Works |

Once your ParaChat Enterprise order is submitted,
you will receive a confirmation email from
a Sales Representative who is personally assigned to your account. The Sales Representative will work
closely with you through the easy set-up process to get your ParaChat Enterprise service promptly into
a production environment. You will receive your default applet HTML, and access to your unique
and feature-rich administration area, once your ParaChat Enterprise service has been established. |

Types of ParaChat Enterprise Rooms |
|
There are 3 modes into which a ParaChat Enterprise room may be configured:
This is the default mode where all users may submit chat text to the main chat window at any time. Moderated Chat. When the moderated event mode is enabled, the main chat window becomes "read only". User submissions are filtered to a designated moderator for review. The moderator may reply to the question, or forward it to a designated speaker for reply. When the reply is posted, the original question appears along with the moderator or speaker's reply in the main chat window for all users to read. Open Moderation. This is a unique mode where the features of open chat are coupled with the features of moderated chat. When invoked, the chat interface has 2 chat text input fields. The top chat text input field is used for submissions to the main chat window. The bottom chat text input field is used for submissions to a moderator. Open moderation allows users to chat freely in the main chat room, as well as to submit questions to a moderator or speaker who, in turn, submit an answer to the submitted questions. Questions and answers display together in the main chat window as you find with moderated chat mode. |

ParaChat Enterprise User Counter & Who's Chatting |

Drive traffic to your ParaChat rooms from throughout your web site! The ParaChat
User Counter is a Java-based counter that informs your
web site visitors of how many users are currently chatting there. Through the addition
of a few lines of HTML to web pages throughout your site, the number of users in your
ParaChat Pro rooms are conveniently displayed on any web page.
Users no longer need to enter a room to see Who's Chatting in the room. Adding a few lines of HTML to your web pages displays the user name who are currently chatting in your chat rooms. |
