When an agent starts the Client, their status will automatically be On-Line.

Each agent may change their status to Busy, Be-Right-Back or Away by clicking the buttons in the My Status toolbar. Each agent's status displays for other agent in the Connected Users list who are also monitoring the same Domain. If all agents for a monitored site do not have an On-Line status, then the click to chat graphic for live chat in the web page will show not available.
When a visitor requests a LiveHelp chat session, the chat request is only sent to agent's that have an On-Line status.
Agents may also change their status using keyboard shortcuts:
On-Line - Alt O
Busy - Alt B
Be-Right-Back - Alt R
Away - Alt W
Auto Busy & Auto Away Options
The ParaChat LiveHelp Client includes the ability to automatically marking an agent 'Away' if they don't use their PC for a specified period of time, as well as to mark an agent as 'Busy' while they are chatting to several visitors at once. See: Client Options.
If an agent has minimized the client to their system tray, they may also quickly change their status from there by right-clicking the icon in the system tray, and selecting the status from the pop-up menu.
