By default Agents can connect using their user name & password (up to the license limit that you have purchased).
You can only add or edit Agents if you are logged on to using an Agent with Administrator rights.
To create a new Agent, select the Agents tab in the ParaChat LiveHelp Client and click the New Agent button.

Enter an Email Address & Password for this Agent. The Email Address must be unique. We recommend using the form username@companyname.com - to ensure uniqueness.
Enable the Admin User option if you want to allow this user to create/edit user records themselves.
Record User Activity
If this option is enabled, then ParaChat LiveHelp will store each user session in the ParaChat LiveHelp Database. Each time a user connects to the ParaChat LiveHelp server, or changes their status (On Line, Busy, Away or Be Right Back), ParaChat LiveHelp will create a new record, with the start & finish time of the session. This information can then be reported on via the ParaChat LiveHelp Web Access. |

Enter the Agent's Display Name & Department. When users login using their Agent account, the display name & department entered here will override any settings they have entered in their client options.
The Email Address, Phone & SMS entries are optional.
Access Rights
Click the Access Rights tab to select which options are available to the user.

Set the Allowed To Edit Site Properties option if you want this user to be able to view and change site properties (this can be done by right-clicking a monitored site in the Monitored Sites tree and selecting Site Properties).
Set the Allowed To View Reports option if you want this user to be able login to the ParaChat LiveHelp Web Access to view on-line reports, or view any of the quick reports in the ParaChat LiveHelp Client itself.
Set the Allowed To View Agents Tabs if you want this user to see and create new agents.
Set the Allowed To Edit Local Settings if you want this user to be able to change any local settings (ParaChat LiveHelp Server address etc).
Set the Allowed To Monitor Other Chats option if you want this user to be able to monitor other users chat sessions.
Monitored Sites
Click the Monitored Sites tab to select which of your monitored sites the user will be allowed to see in their ParaChat LiveHelp Client.

When the agent connects, they will only see the monitored sites that you have selected in the Allowed Access To list. They will not see visitors or receive chat requests (or show as on-line to) sites that are not in this list.
