To begin having live chats with your visitors, and viewing live statistics, the ParaChat LiveHelp code must be added to your web pages. The code is retrieved from the ParaChat LiveHelp Client itself. To retrieve the code, right-click on your web site in the Monitored Sites tree, and choose Site Properties. The Site Properties console will display in a pop-up window.
Click the Tracking Code tab:
Click the Options tab and then Create Tracking Code:
The code that you need to embed into your pages will be shown (for SSL pages select the SSL Pages tab).
Click the Copy To Clipboard button to copy the code to your clipboard. You can then paste it into the HTML of your web pages. Click the Email To Web Designer button to send the code to your web designers for them to embed.
Once the code is embedded you will start seeing visitors appear in your client.
The Embed Wizard button can be used to automate the process of embedding the code into multiple pages. You can also use the Embed Wizard to remove the code from your pages.
