Upload An Emoticon Image To My Library
Select individual files from your computer to upload for use with the chat service. Click the Browse... button to choose an Emoticon image file to upload from your computer. The image file that you selected will appear in the text input field. Click the "I Agree To Terms Below - Upload Image" button to agree to the Terms Of Use for this feature, and to upload the file to the chat server. A maximum of 25 Emoticon image files may be uploaded. Each Emoticon image file must be no larger than 16 KB in size, and must be a .gif, .jpg or .png file in order to be accepted for use.

The images that have been successfully uploaded for use with the chat service display in a Library under the Emoticon Image column. By default, a 20x20 pixel thumbnail will display in the Library regardless of the actual size of the Emoticon image file.
The chat window will display an emoticon within a message by using a File Name Shortcut or a Punctuation Shortcut. By default, the File Name Shortcut is required for each emoticon, and is the name of the image file without its file type by default (rose.gif = ::rose). The option exists to set a File Name Shortcut that is different from the actual file name (JW8K5Sa.gif = ::rose) in the event the naming convention for image files is not intuitive. The Punctuation Shortcut is optional, and is used to apply standard punctuation characters to an emoticon image (such as :) = smile.gif). Input the shortcut characters that you wish to associate with each image file.
To delete a file, click the delete link for that file under the Delete Emoticon column. Click the Save button to save your edits.
