Add Site Operator

A Site Operator has permission-based access to administrative features in the chat room's Admin Console in all rooms under a Site ID.  To add or edit Site Operators, please follow the steps below:

 

Step 1. Log into the Web-based Service Administration Pages, and select the SITES tab.

 

Step 2.  Under Site Settings in the left navigation, click the Site Admin/Operators link.

 

Step 3.  Input user names of Site Operators into the field that corresponds to the Permission Level to which the operator names should be associated. The set of Admin Console features defined for each Permission Level is set by the site administrator under "Site Operator Permissions".  List user names separated only by a comma, and no space.

Step 4. Click Submit to save your edit.

 

 info_red_sm.jpgHINT: If you list user names in these fields, it is suggested that you first create the user names on the chat server to password-protect them.  If a user is not created for user names that are listed as operators, any person who logs into the chat room using that user name will have operator privileges in the chat room.
